Taint Invaders (TI) is a Horde-side progression raid within the Spreading Taint family of guilds on US Proudmoore (PvE). Throughout Tier 9 and the latter-half of Tier 8, we have been the top Horde-side guild on the server.
The Spreading Taint (or just "Taint"), TI's parent guild, is the preeminent LGBT-friendly guild in the US -- with nearly 3500 members (from social members, to casual raiders, to hardcore raiders), Taint is the 2nd largest guild in the world, and Proudmoore is known as the "gay" server in WoW -- WowInsider recently profiled Taint and Proudmoore. Taint Invaders, the hardcore raid group to which you are applying, has a very active roster of about 30 members, many of whom have been with the guild for a long time: the raid, in various formations, has been around since classic WoW. Additionally, if you have an alt or friends you would like to bring over, there are also plenty of casual raiding opportunities within Taint.

Taint Invaders maintains hardcore raiding expectations: members need to keep high attendance and arrive with the best gear/gems/enchants available to them, maximum consumables, repair gold, and a good attitude. You will be expected to show talent, improve constantly, take criticism like an adult, and be up-to-date on theorycrafting. Consistent performance is expected: no one will be grandfathered into a raid slot.
For server transfers and players not already affiliated with Taint guilds, application to Taint Invaders also involves applying to our parent guild, Taint. We will explain this relationship again during your vent interview and answer any questions you may have. If you join Taint Invaders as a trial member, we will walk you through the application process for the parent guild. It's not a cumbersome or difficult process, and it will be well worth it to be a part of this larger community! You should take a look at Taint's website and its charter, which all TI members are required to abide by. Also, remember that our guild is made up of LGBT and LGBT-friendly players, and has an age requirement of 18. If you do not meet the age requirement or have a problem with the guild's player makeup, then Taint Invaders is not the guild for you.

Raid Times
- Monday through Thursday: 6-10pm PST
- Extended times are scheduled for 10 mans (optional), PTRs (attendance strongly encouraged), and new content (attendance expected).

Loot is determined by DKP. Trial and standby members earn DKP at a reduced rate and have a bid cap.
- Follow the instructions on our recruitment page.
- We will respond or ask more questions on your application thread, and if we are interested we will set up a Ventrilo interview.
- If you are invited to the guild, trial memberships last two to four weeks. We will walk you through the (short, easy) application process to our parent guild.
- Experience with all current 25-man raid content.
- Demonstrable, deep knowledge of your class.
- Appropriate gear.
- Ventrilo and a working microphone.
- Full potions/elixirs/flasks/food/repair gold on hand, before the raid.
- Timeliness. Raids start at 6pm PST. Invites go out 30 minutes before.
